Our story

We launched Altima because we were tired of founders being underserved when it came to finding their CFO. Tired of the lack of knowledge about the role, and the transformational impact it can have on a growing business. And we were tired of the same small pool of senior finance leaders being approached for the same roles.

And so, we decided to do things differently. An agile and entrepreneurial search firm based on data, research, relationships and serious expertise.

20 years on and we’ve evolved from underdog to market leader in Europe. We now support companies along their whole growth curve from Series A to late stage venture and into Private Equity ownership. We’ve built partnerships with some of the world’s most respected funds, who trust us to find growth-driving CFOs for their portfolio. And over the last few years, we’ve expanded our operations in the US.

We’ve built our deep expertise, a vast CFO network and a team of seriously smart humans, who deliver a best-in-class product and service to our clients.
