Babylon Health are a Healthtech marketplace pioneering AI to make healthcare more accessible to all. They wanted a highly transactional CFO to lead investor relations, fundraising and growth through M&A. They hired Charlie for his experience all these areas from his earlier career at Deutsche Bank and more recent experience within CMC, a growth stage, scaling online trading platform, where he also played an integral role in their IPO. Babylon closed $450m of a $550m planned Series C round in August 2019 supported by Charlie Steel.
